Woman wonders why she’s so tired, ‘sets up camera and is stunned by her cat’s behavior each night’!

When we envision snuggling with a pet, most of us would likely think of a dog, known for its affectionate and dependent nature. However, for one pet owner, the realization dawned that it was her needy cat who was disrupting her sleep and leaving her tired each morning. Susie has cherished her beloved cat, Ginger, for almost all of his 16 years, and their bond is truly special.

“He craves attention and spends most days by my side while I work around the house,” Susie shared with The Dodo. “He loves cuddles day and night.” At night, Ginger sleeps on Susie’s bed and insists on being embraced, pawing at her arm until she complies.

Unbeknownst to Susie, this nightly ritual was happening more frequently than she realized. As she woke up feeling tired, she became curious about what Ginger was doing to disrupt her sleep. To unravel the mystery, she decided to install a camera with night vision, and the revelations left her amazed.

“I wanted to see how often this was happening during the night, and I was astonished to discover it went on for so long,” Susie remarked. “It was fascinating to observe how he meows at me.” Every night, her beloved cat would persistently paw at her arm, prompting her to wrap it around him.

He would then sleep for two hours, get up to attend to his feline activities, and return for the same routine. Susie shared the humorous video on TikTok, which quickly went viral, with many people offering suggestions to combat her nighttime feline disturbance, such as locking Ginger out of the bedroom.

However, this clever cat knows how to manipulate door handles, rendering that solution ineffective. Regardless of how many times Ginger interrupts her slumber, Susie doesn’t mind. She is simply delighted to have him close by, providing warmth and companionship. “I adore my little ginger fluffball, and I’m happy when he seeks cuddles,” Susie expressed. “Perhaps I sleep better with cat cuddles.”
