Idaho Woman Allegedly Murdered, Infant Son Missing: Husband Wanted for Murder and Kidnapping

Tragedy struck Victor, Idaho, as 38-year-old Kali Jean Randall was allegedly murdered, and her infant son, Zeke Gregory Best, is now missing, along with her husband, Jeremy Albert Best, who is the prime suspect in the murder and kidnapping case. Authorities have declared Jeremy Best “believed to be armed and very dangerous.”

The Teton County Sheriff’s Office reported that Kali Randall was discovered dead in their home on Thursday evening, and her death is under investigation as a homicide. Jeremy Best is not only named as a suspect in her murder but is also implicated in the alleged kidnapping of their 10-month-old son, Zeke Gregory Best.

Law enforcement responded to a 911 call late Thursday night, during which a disturbance was heard over the line. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found Kali Randall unresponsive. An Amber Alert has been issued for the missing infant, Zeke.

Kali’s brother, Brian Randall, described her as “absolutely a genuinely beautiful soul.” She was an artist known for crafting handmade jewelry and had previously worked as a veterinarian technician. On her social media accounts, Kali documented her life as an artist and shared moments with Jeremy Best. The couple had met in 2009, according to Brian, and were married in September 2022.

Despite Brian’s initial perception of Jeremy Best as a “normal guy” without any apparent conflicts between the couple, the tragic events have shifted his perspective. Brian now reflects on the unsettling realization that sometimes people may not truly be known, adding, “Sometimes maybe you don’t know people.” The search for Jeremy Best and the missing infant intensifies as the community grapples with the shocking turn of events.
