Police have expressed growing concerns for the welfare of a teenage girl who is believed to have traveled to Manchester. Katelan Coates, hailing from Todmorden in West Yorkshire, is currently reported as missing.
West Yorkshire Police has urgently appealed for assistance in locating the 14-year-old on the evening of May 28. According to the police, Katelan stands at 5 feet 5 inches tall, and an image depicts her with dark hair extending beyond her shoulders.
During her last sighting, Katelan was reportedly dressed in black leggings, an orange vest top, and a furry black coat, as stated by West Yorkshire Police. Individuals who come across Katelan or possess any information regarding her whereabouts are urged to promptly contact the police.
In a Facebook post, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police provided the following details: “MISSING FROM TODMORDEN: Katelan Coates, 14 y.o., 5’5″, last seen wearing black leggings, orange vest top, furry black coat. There are concerns for her welfare. If you have any sightings or information, please call 101/999, quoting reference number 1971 26/05.”
