Trump Reveals The First Thing He Will Ban With His First Executive Order After Winning Presidency

In a video released on his Truth Social platform, former President Donald Trump has put forward a proposal that would instruct federal agencies to stop promoting se*x or gender transition. The proposal also seeks to label hospitals or healthcare providers offering gender-affirming procedures for minors as not meeting federal health and safety standards.

Additionally, Trump called for Congress to pass a bill prohibiting what he referred to as “child se*xual mutilation.”During the video, Trump described gender-affirming care for minors as “child abuse” and “child se*xual mutilation,” equating gender transition with what he called “gender insanity.” He argued against the promotion of these concepts by federal agencies.

This proposed executive order aligns with Trump’s previous stance on the issue during his presidency and campaign, where he vowed to protect children from what he referred to as “left-wing gender insanity.”

Gender-affirming care has become a topic of debate in recent years, with discussions revolving around its necessity and potential impact on transgender individuals. It encompasses a range of services, including medical, surgical, mental health, and non-medical support for transgender and nonbinary people. Advocates argue that gender-affirming care is crucial for improving the mental health and well-being of transgender individuals.

Opponents, including Trump, view these procedures as “chemical, physical, and emotional mutilation” and raise concerns about potential long-term effects on minors.

The proposed executive order is expected to face strong opposition from LGBTQ rights advocates who consider it harmful to transgender individuals and their access to essential care. LGBTQ rights organizations have been actively opposing similar proposals across the country, emphasizing the significance of gender-affirming care for the well-being of transgender individuals.

The issue has garnered significant attention, leading Republican lawmakers in several states to introduce bills aiming to restrict access to gender-affirming care for transgender youth.

It’s important to note that the implementation of an executive order requires the election and assumption of office by a president. The fate of such proposals will depend on the outcomes of future elections and subsequent policy decisions.

However, Trump’s remarks at the Moms for Liberty summit shed light on his priorities and potential policy directions if he were to be elected president again.
