Trump Explodes After Rudy Guiliani Locked In Jail

In a post on Truth Social, Donald Trump commented on Rudy Giuliani’s incarceration following his arrest on disproven election claims, stating, “The greatest Mayor in the history of New York City was just ARRESTED in Atlanta, Georgia because he fought for Election Integrity. THE ELECTION WAS RIGGED & STOLEN. HOW SAD FOR OUR COUNTRY. MAGA!”

Yuscil Taveras, who previously served as the IT director at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, has taken a significant turn in the retention of government documents case.

According to recent court documentation, Taveras reversed his earlier court testimony and implicated Trump in obstruction of justice. This turn of events followed his decision to part ways with his attorney funded by a Trump PAC, as reported by Media Ite.

As detailed in the filing, “Trump Employee 4,” whom media outlets identify as Taveras, was notified in June about being the subject of a perjury investigation.

Subsequently, he opted for legal representation from the Federal Public Defender’s Office, replacing his former Trump PAC-supported lawyer, Stanley Woodward, who was also representing Trump’s valet, Walt Nauta.

On July 5, Taveras communicated his choice to Chief Judge Boasberg, expressing his desire to have the First Assistant Federal Defender as his new legal representative and disassociating from Mr. Woodward.

Following this change, the filing stated, “Soon after securing new counsel, Trump Employee 4 retracted his previous false testimony and provided information that implicated Nauta, [Carlos] De Oliveira, and Trump in efforts to delete security camera footage, as outlined in the superseding indictment.”

Previously, it was disclosed that in June, Trump faced 37 counts relating to his retention of government documents, including charges under the Espionage Act and conspiracy to obstruct justice.

In July, he faced an additional three counts pertaining to the alleged destruction of surveillance footage at Mar-a-Lago. Walt Nauta and Carlos De Oliveira, respectively the valet at Mar-a-Lago and the maintenance chief, were also indicted on eight and four charges connected to their alleged involvement in the deletion of surveillance footage.
