A tragic incident occurred at Orlando Motocross Park in Florida, where a father of two lost his life in a dirt bike accident. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported that the victim, identified as Chris Bragg by friends, was riding his dirt bike on Sunday when he fell and was accidentally struck by another rider.
Despite immediate medical attention and transport to the hospital, Bragg succumbed to his injuries. Married with two children, Bragg was known for his involvement in the community, particularly mentoring and coaching young riders at the motocross track, reported NBC affiliate WESH.
Described as a skilled racer and a father figure to many, Bragg’s passion for motocross and his positive impact on the lives of others were evident. A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated by Phillip Whitehead to support Bragg’s family. As of Tuesday afternoon, over $15,000 has been raised through the fundraiser.
Whitehead expressed, “Chris was a mentor to many of us on the track,” emphasizing Bragg’s role as a father figure to young men in the motocross community. The funds collected will be directed to Bragg’s wife, Brandy, covering various expenses, including funeral costs, hospital bills, household expenses, and more.
Orlando Motocross Park also paid tribute to Bragg on their Facebook page, extending condolences to his family and friends and the entire motocross community. They requested thoughts and prayers for the Bragg family during this difficult time.
