An Australian TikTok influencer, Tia Kabir, was brought to tears after getting a tattoo that turned out to be different from what she wanted.
In a video posted on TikTok, Tia tearfully explained that she had been dreaming of getting an “angel energy” tattoo for a while and finally got it done in Bali, only to find out that it actually read “energy angel”.
Her fans expressed sympathy and suggested different ways to fix the mistake. One person even suggested expanding the tattoo to say “angel energy” and something else.
The problem with tattoos is that when they go wrong, they can be etched onto the skin permanently, leaving a person with regret and a potential need for laser removal treatment.
One woman discovered that a tattoo she had of a girl embracing her “guardian angel” looked more like she was eating someone’s rear end.
Another woman regretted getting a tattoo of an upside-down pineapple after learning that it was a secret symbol used by swingers to identify each other in public.
Even celebrities like Britney Spears have faced tattoo regrets. She recently got a tattoo that she admitted “sucked” and needed fixing. Some people even intentionally get bad tattoos as revenge or a joke.
However, it is always worth making sure that a tattoo is exactly what you want before getting it done to avoid any potential regrets or need for painful laser removal treatment.
