Anna, a female student, and self-proclaimed public activist, attempted to send a message with her controversial video, but the intended message was not quite delivered.
The video, titled “This video is ‘dedicated’ to all who love to peek under skirts. On behalf of all women who became your victims – here, look! And stay away from us,” featured Anna standing in the middle of a busy train station, where she lifted her skirt to reveal her underwear. It is unclear how this move was intended to help stop upskirting.
Despite receiving over 1.4 million views, the video did not receive the expected response. One viewer questioned, “Someone looked under your skirt and saw your underwear.
What is humiliating and insulting in this?” Another commented, “W***** themselves provoke this. Normal honest girls do not behave like this.”
Although some appreciated the video for entirely different reasons, such as one viewer who wrote, “This is my favorite video manifesto,” and another who stated, “Great ass!” A third comment read, “It sure is getting hot in my room.” It is worth noting that recent reports suggest many US states are recording record highs in sexual assault incidents.
