A mother-of-two who died in an accident in which her little son was seriously injured and is now struggling for his life has received tributes.
On Monday, a collision on the A487 Felinheli bypass in Caernarfon, North Wales, claimed the life of Emma Louise Morris, 28. In the collision, which included four automobiles and three other people, her four-year-old son had “life-threatening injuries.”
According to Wales Online, two more women were brought to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor with significant injuries, while a third lady is being treated for serious injuries at a hospital in Stoke.
Her parents paid Ms. Morris homage by saying: “Our lovely daughter was brutally snatched away from us too soon. Our precious child had so much more life left to live at just 28 years old. Emma Louise Morris left a huge vacuum in all of our lives and was beautiful on the inside and out.
“We appreciate all of the wonderful sentiments from family and friends, but we also ask that, at this trying time, our privacy be respected. We will not make any additional statements. We continue to keep an eye on our grandson, who is still in the hospital and is in critical but stable condition. We pray for speedy healing for him.
According to North Wales Police, the April 3 accident included a dark gray Audi A3 saloon, a BMW 1 series, a Peugeot 208, and a Skoda Octavia. The Peugeot’s driver, Ms. Morris, was declared deceased at the scene.
Friends have organized a JustGiving campaign, which has now gathered more than £1,800 for Ms. Morris’ two boys and their father. An appeal has been made for the information on the collision, which happened between 6.30 and 7 p.m., as well as witnesses and dashcam video, especially of the Audi.
