Karyna Shuliak, the former girlfriend of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was seen taking a leisurely stroll along New York City’s Fifth Avenue on Thursday. Shuliak, in her early 30s, had been in a relationship with Epstein until his death in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
During her walk, Shuliak was casually dressed in royal blue sweatpants, and a white T-shirt, and had headphones on. The dentist, originally from Belarus, was observed with a black purse over her shoulder while firmly holding a green shopping bag. Reports suggest that Epstein financially supported Shuliak’s dental education, and she is said to be a beneficiary of one of the trusts he established.
Although Shuliak’s current place of residence is unclear, records indicate that she previously listed Epstein’s former townhouse on East 71st Street as her address. The townhouse was sold for $51 million in 2021. Furthermore, her name was linked to Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion between 2015 and 2018, which was sold for $25.8 million in recent years.
Shuliak reportedly had a final conversation with Epstein before his death by suicide in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. The medical examiner’s office ruled it as suicide.
Sources have indicated that Shuliak was not aware of Epstein’s suicidal intentions during their last conversation, which lasted approximately 15 minutes on August 10, 2019. The following morning, Epstein was tragically discovered deceased.
Before Epstein’s arrest on federal sex trafficking charges in July 2019, he and Shuliak were reportedly together in Paris, according to local reports. Epstein was subsequently detained in the United States and faced legal proceedings.
Records obtained by The Daily News reveal that Shuliak married an alleged victim of Epstein, who is a U.S. citizen, in 2013. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2019. Shuliak has not responded to requests for comment at the time of writing.
