A family of four has been found dead in what is suspected to be a murder-suicide, leaving neighbors shocked and grieving. The bodies of Michal Wlodarczyk (39), his wife Monika (35), and their children Maja (11) and Dawid (3) were discovered at their residence in Hounslow, west London. Police entered the property on Friday afternoon but were unable to save the family.
Oana Petraru (31), a neighbor, recalled seeing Monika playing joyfully with her children in the garden just days before the tragic event. She described the family as happy, with Monika always engaged in activities with her children. Although she rarely saw the father, there was nothing unusual or alarming about the family’s behavior. Petraru never witnessed any fighting or disturbances, making the incident even more shocking.
James Hoopa, the father of Maja’s best friend, visited the family’s home to pay his respects, along with his family. He recounted how his daughter came running home on Friday afternoon, expressing concern about Maja. Hoopa described Maja as a normal, lovely girl and expressed his worry for his own daughter, who is devastated by the loss of her best friend.
Another neighbor, Maria Gouveia, revealed that her daughter attended the same school as Maja and hadn’t seen her since Tuesday. Concerned, the schoolteacher contacted the police after receiving no communication from the family. Gouveia expressed her shock and disbelief upon hearing the news of the family’s tragic fate, emphasizing that Maja’s parents were hardworking individuals and Maja herself was a bright and smiling girl.
The police confirmed that they are not looking for any suspects in connection with the incident and are treating it as a murder-suicide. They are conducting thorough investigations and have urged the community to be responsible on social media, refraining from speculating or sharing names.
The local community in Hounslow and beyond is deeply saddened by the incident, and support services are being provided to help those affected, particularly children. The police have increased their presence in the area and encourage anyone with information or concerns to approach the officers.
This heartbreaking event has left the community in shock, emphasizing the need for understanding, support, and compassion during such distressing times.
