Natalia Grace Initiates GoFundMe for Housing and Medical Procedures Following ID’s Docuseries Conclusion
In the aftermath of the dramatic conclusion of her documentary series on Investigation Discovery, Natalia Grace has launched a GoFundMe campaign to secure funds for new housing and necessary medical procedures.
Born with a rare form of dwarfism, Natalia hopes to purchase her own home in response to the startling revelations in the ID docuseries “The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks.”
In the GoFundMe description, she reveals, “I recently moved out and I’m saving money to get my own house so I can have a personal place of my own.” Natalia also expresses her desire to start a photography business as part of her fresh start in adulthood, aiming to move beyond the challenges she has faced.
Natalia, diagnosed with diastrophic dysplasia, anticipates needing surgeries on her legs and spine, estimating a cost exceeding $500,000. She claims her specialist doesn’t accept her medical insurance.
The Ukrainian orphan has set a $20,000 goal for her fundraiser and has garnered nearly $1,500 in less than a day. She also promoted the campaign on her new TikTok profile, boasting over 12,000 followers.
Adopted by Michael and Kristine Barnett in 2010 at the age of 6, Natalia’s relationship with her adoptive parents soured, leading to neglect charges in 2019. The Barnetts alleged that Natalia, initially adopted as a child, was an adult pretending to be a child and had her legal birth year changed. However, it was later confirmed that Natalia was indeed a young child when adopted.
Living with the Man’s family since her adoption in 2023, Natalia’s situation took a complex turn in the concluding episode of “Natalia Speaks.” Her adoptive father, Antwon Mans, expressed concerns about her presence in their home, suggesting that something was amiss. Natalia posted a brief update on her Instagram after the finale, assuring her well-being but indicating limitations due to an agreement with ID.
“I will let you guys know when I can for sure, but just know I am okay. Love y’all,” she wrote.
