Mother saw baby ‘blowing bubble’ on ultrasound, doctor revealed the truth and told her to abort!

Bearing a child and giving birth are profound experiences filled with joy and wonder. While there may be moments of anxiety, exhaustion, discomfort, and even pain, becoming a parent is one of the most precious and fulfilling journeys in life.

It involves taking care of yourself, seeking support from loved ones, and nurturing your baby from the womb to the world. During her pregnancy, Tammy received an ultrasound that shook her world.

The images revealed something unexpected—a bubble-like formation in her baby’s mouth. This bubble turned out to be a rare tumor known as a teratoma. The doctors presented Tammy with two options: to terminate the pregnancy due to the high risk of the baby’s survival or undergo an unprecedented operation, ABC News reports.

However, Tammy firmly rejected the idea of abortion and was determined to do everything possible to save her child. She expressed her decision to proceed with the operation, and two weeks later, the procedure took place. Using a minimally invasive laser instrument, the doctors successfully removed the tumor through a small incision in Tammy’s abdomen.

Five months later, Tammy’s daughter Leyna was born—healthy, vibrant, and full of life. Tammy expresses profound gratitude to the medical team for their unique and skillful procedure that led to Leyna’s well-being. Despite a small scar on her mouth, Leyna is thriving, talking, and drinking like any other child. She is truly a miraculous baby, a source of immense joy for the Gonzales family.
