Haylee Ladner, a 26-year-old mother, has finally been discharged from the hospital after giving birth to rare quintuplets two months ago.
She brought her five babies home just in time for Mother’s Day on May 14, after they arrived well before their due date of May 10. The quintuplets were born on February 16 at 28 weeks and one day.
Jake was the last one to go home on April 27, followed by Magnolia, Adalyn, Everleigh, and Malley Kate, who came home with their mother on May 5. Haylee’s husband, Shawn, took care of the babies until she was discharged, told Kake.
Haylee and Shawn had two miscarriages and went through three intrauterine insemination cycles before becoming pregnant with quintuplets
She expressed her gratitude for her children, saying that they are her biggest blessing, and she doesn’t mind the chaos that comes with having numerous children.
She encourages other mothers to stay present and cherish every moment with their children. She also shared that her husband had a surprise for her on her first Mother’s Day, even though she was expecting to spend it in the hospital.
