Mother and Juvenile Children Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting – Ongoing Investigation Unveils New Details

A mother and her two juvenile children have been apprehended and are now facing charges related to the shooting death of a 36-year-old man that occurred last month.

On November 14, deputies from the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in the 4700 block of Jasper Road, where they discovered a victim deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Fast forward two weeks to November 28, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested an 11-year-old girl, who was wanted in Iberia County for first-degree murder in connection with the death of Kamran Bedsole.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office revealed on December 5 that investigators made additional arrests about Bedsole’s tragic demise. Detectives from the Houston Police Department, acting on a warrant issued by Iberia Parish, took a 15-year-old into custody on charges of first-degree murder.

Simultaneously, officials arrested 40-year-old Sabrina Washington, charging her with two counts of accessory after the fact. The statement clarified that both juveniles had previously resided in Iberia Parish but were currently located elsewhere.

Sabrina Washington is reported to be the mother of the two juvenile suspects. The details surrounding the shooting and the motive behind it have not been fully disclosed, and the investigation is ongoing. The arrest of the juveniles and their mother marks a significant development in the case, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the tragic event that unfolded on Jasper Road.
