British Man Detransitions and Seeks a Wife After 10 Years of Living as a Trans Woman and Dating Men

Oli London, a 33-year-old man from the UK, had spent a decade identifying as a woman and dating men before deciding to detransition. Oli, who had been assigned male at birth, struggled with gender identity issues since his early twenties and underwent facial feminization surgery. He eventually got married to a man, but their relationship ended when Oli began questioning his gender identity once again.

In a surprising turn, Oli now identifies as a man and believes that a heterosexual relationship with a woman could bring him happiness. Expressing his frustration with dating men, he shared his desire to explore relationships with women as a potential source of fulfillment.

Oli London has been a controversial figure in the UK, previously drawing criticism for claiming to be “transracial” and identifying as Korean. He underwent numerous surgeries in an attempt to change his appearance to what he perceived as more Asian features but later expressed remorse and apologized for his actions.

During a recent appearance on the “H3 Podcast,” Oli faced backlash for his casual attitude towards detransitioning and perpetuating misconceptions about being transgender as a choice. Co-host Ethan Klein accused him of disregarding the rarity of detransitioning within the transgender community.

In his pursuit of finding a romantic partner, Oli has sought the help of seduction coach Aliia Roza. He is determined to present himself as more masculine and has adopted a wardrobe of suits and started taking testosterone. Additionally, Oli is learning how to be less clingy and maintain distance to generate interest from potential partners.

While he continues his search for a perfect match, Oli envisions a domestic future, aspiring to settle down, get married, and start a family. He dreams of living on a farm surrounded by animals, with a loving wife and a baby.

It’s worth noting that detransitioning, like Oli’s experience, is relatively uncommon. A study published in LGBT Health found that only about 13% of those who had undergone gender-affirming transition reported detransitioning at some point. The reasons varied, with external factors like family pressure and employment difficulties being the primary causes. Doubt about gender identity accounted for a small portion of those who detransitioned.

While Oli’s story stands out, it is crucial to recognize that individual experiences and reasons for detransitioning can vary widely within the transgender community.
