Authorities in Las Vegas have arrested a man, George Bone, after he allegedly murdered his female roommate, Beverly Ma, and concealed her body in a closet for a shocking two-month period.

The incident came to light when a family member alerted the police, stating that Bone had confided in her about the gruesome act.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the call on July 26, where they discovered Ma’s lifeless body, indicating that she had been deceased for an extended period. Bone and Ma had been friends since high school and decided to live together last year.

A witness recounted how she noticed an unusually high air conditioning bill, leading her to enter the residence on July 26. Bone, seemingly unfazed, showed her the body hidden behind a cooler and a towel-covered closet door, inviting her to take a look.

When questioned by the police, Bone admitted that Ma died in May, but the exact cause and manner of her death are pending the results of an autopsy conducted by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

Detectives found evidence suggesting that Bone strangled Ma on the same day she called 911 to report a dispute between a man and a woman, but no one answered the door when officers arrived.

In a disturbing revelation, Bone disclosed to investigators that he refrained from seeking help out of fear of going back to jail for being found with a dead body. He even bizarrely expressed concerns that Ma might come back to life like a character from a horror movie, “The Grudge.”

In addition to murder charges, Bone also faces accusations of failing to register as a s*x offender. Back in 2012, he was arrested and charged with s*xual assault and lewdness after a student accused him of inappropriate behavior when she was 11 years old.

In 2013, Bone entered a plea deal on a charge of attempted lewdness with a child under the age of 14.

Currently held at the Clark County Detention Center, Bone will likely face a lengthy legal process for these heinous crimes.
