A peculiar video clip has surfaced, showing a group of friends attempting to rescue their companion from an underground waste bin in Malaga.
In what seems to be a typical occurrence during alcohol-fueled holidays in southern Spain, someone—presumably on a drunken escapade—found themselves trapped inside a large bin. The individual’s friends, realizing the predicament, rallied together to free their comrades.
The person at the center of this incident goes by the name Tiggy, as evident from the video. It appears that he and his friends are British tourists enjoying their time abroad. It was likely intended as a drunken prank that took an unexpected turn, forcing everyone to collaborate in their efforts to extract Tiggy from the waste container.
Certainly not the ideal way to spend a vacation on the Costa del Sol. Then again, with certain individuals, one can never predict what they’ll do.
In the video, Tiggy’s friends can be heard urging him to give them his hand and counting to three as they attempt to pull him out. Local onlookers also offer advice, encouraging Tiggy to bring his knees up. Eventually, it became apparent that external help was needed.
The police, firefighters, and employees from a maintenance company were summoned to assist in Tiggy’s liberation. In the end, they successfully freed him from the bin.
According to local reports, the group of holidaymakers decided to place Tiggy inside the waste container after consuming alcohol. This incident took place in Malaga’s bustling Uncibay Square, right in the heart of the historic city.
Around 1:00 a.m., emergency services were called to the scene by a concerned bar owner. She explained that the group had been taking turns climbing into the container but encountered difficulty when one of them became stuck.
That unfortunate person happened to be Tiggy. Despite the efforts of his friends, they were unable to release him from the bin. One spectator watching the ordeal remarked, “Is this real?” Sadly, it was all too real.
However, Tiggy was eventually freed, sporting a smile on his face, albeit without his shirt. The locals cheered in celebration, but the emergency services likely didn’t find the situation as amusing. One witness aptly commented, “There are foolish people, and then there are these individuals. They put a guy in an underground waste container and couldn’t get him out. They’ve been attempting for the past half-hour. I don’t understand why people get drunk and engage in such antics.” Unfortunately, such incidents are all too common.
