Tragically, the parents of a 7-year-old boy who selflessly donated his hair to cancer patients have received distressing news. Despite facing mockery from his peers, young Viny dedicated two years to growing out his blond hair, reaching an impressive length of 13 inches.
“I want to assist people so they won’t have to battle cancer at the doctor’s office,” explained the resilient boy, brushing off the teasing remarks about his appearance.
“Throughout that period, he was often mistaken for a girl, but Viny took it in stride, confidently asserting, ‘Nah, I’m a boy,'” shared his father Jason, a combat veteran. However, shortly after Viny cut off his long locks for donation, he received a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 cancer, told Washington Post.
It all began when Viny returned home from school complaining of knee pain. Before long, medical examinations revealed a growth around his hips. To their deep concern, doctors discovered a bone formation near his eye and right cheek, challenging their initial assumption that it was merely an allergy.
The possibility of a connection between the two issues arose, raising apprehensions. Medical professionals are currently working to identify the specific type of cancer afflicting the young boy.
