Unspeakable Tragedy As Baby Girl And Young Siblings Killed In Horrific Crash Caused By Reckless Teen

According to the 9news on Monday, September 4, 2023, a tragic car accident in Poinciana, Florida resulted in the deaths of three young siblings and their grandmother on Sunday evening.

The fatal crash occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of San Miguel Street and Laurel Avenue when a speeding teenage driver ran a stop sign and violently collided with the family’s SUV.

The deceased include 50-year-old Trinidad Hernandez, who was driving the SUV, along with her three grandchildren aged 1, 9, and 11.

The children’s father, Mickey Hernandez-Morillo, shared his grief on Facebook saying “All 3 of my kids were pronounced dead today in a car accident! I want you guys back!!”

According to authorities, the teen driver of a 2012 Chevy Impala carrying three 15-year-old passengers failed to halt at the stop sign while exceeding the speed limit.

The front of the Impala crashed directly into the left side of the family’s 2022 Honda HR-V, causing it to spin out and strike a light pole.

The SUV’s driver and one child died at the scene while the other two children passed away at the hospital.

The teenage driver was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

His three 15-year-old passengers also sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the horrible crash.

Witnesses say the intersection is notorious for speeding violations and ignored stop signs.

One bystander, Michele Torres, helped calm the teenage driver as he anxiously asked “Am I going to jail?”

The deadly accident remains under investigation by Florida Highway Patrol. Potential charges have not been announced yet for the young driver who caused the tragic incident.

Heartbroken family and friends are mourning the tremendous loss of three innocent lives and their loving grandmother. The victims’ father lamented “I want you guys back!” after the sudden deaths of his three children. Authorities continue looking into details of the devastating crash.
