Known for his extravagant spending habits, Barrie habitually splurges £4 million annually on Christmas celebrations alone. Previous indulgences have included a £2.5 million yacht for his newborn son Romeo. Now, with the arrival of his granddaughter Marina, the family has welcomed another fortunate recipient of Barrie’s largesse, according to the Daily Mail.
Expressing his pride, the doting grandfather said, “Tony Drewitt-Barlow and I could not be prouder of Saffron Drewitt-Barlow and Conor Tucker for bringing this little Princess into our family. She is our first granddaughter—a new princess to shower with affection.” He continued, “I am immensely proud of both Saffron and her husband Conor. They are a perfect match. Now, I have yet another princess to spoil, and I simply cannot wait.”
Barrie elaborated on his recent gestures, revealing, “I just purchased a new £1 million house for her over the weekend, and I have arranged for a team of interior designers to completely renovate it. Aspen [Saffron’s brother] recently gifted them a £5,000 Dior pram and pushchair.”
