A video shows a teenage boy who was dead for 20 minutes, opening his eyes and seeing Jesus in front of him

In 2015, Zack Clements’ life had an irrevocable shift on a routine day. He had no medical conditions and was a healthy young man, yet he had a heart attack at Victory Life School.

The medical team was prepared to formally pronounce him dead since it had been long enough for significant brain damage to develop. God, however, had other ideas for Zack.

Zack received swift and effective CPR from the medics, but the situation seemed dismal. He went for 20 minutes without a heartbeat, so the doctors even warned the family to expect the worst.

He was flown by air ambulance to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth by the crew. If Zack ever woke up, they anticipated that he might exhibit some evidence of brain injury.

Luckily, three days after the terrifying incident, the adolescent awoke. His principal Gary Bay described it as “one of the gravest [situations] he’d encountered.”

To everyone’s shock and relief, Zack didn’t seem to have any long-term repercussions. Zack’s favorable health reports were welcomed by his family, but he had something even more important to say.

Zack revealed the incident has made him more humble and he was immensely happy to be alive. While his heart had to be monitored by a defibrillator vest, it was all worth it for him.

Zack claimed he had seen a person he instantly identified as Jesus when he came to. Angels lined up next to him, and he had a lengthy beard. The adolescent described the surreal and amazing event:

“I went up to him, and he put his hand on my shoulder and told me everything would be alright and not to worry.”

When Zack came to, he confessed he had seen a person he instantly identified as Jesus. Angels were arranged in a line next to him and he had a lengthy beard. The adolescent described the amazing and paranormal encounter:

Unsurprisingly, not everyone enjoyed the experience. He and his parents were questioned by many people. The tale was “humanly impossible” to tell, according to Billy Clements’ father, and he shared:

“We’ve had people say he’s lying or that we gave him a pill before school that day so it would look like he’d gone into cardiac arrest. People can argue science and logic but can’t argue with somebody’s personal experience. They can’t take that away from Zack.”

In order for others to hear about and be inspired by the boy’s holy experience, the family persisted and videotaped him relaying it.

The Clements family’s unique experience has deepened their spiritual connection. There is no other term for it except a miracle, said Mother Teresa Clements.

During his battle for life, the physicians who were at Zack’s bedside were astounded by his health. Given the severity of his heart attack and the clear fact that he was clinically dead for 20 minutes, they couldn’t believe he had recovered so swiftly.

As he came, he immediately recognized everyone and everything around him. The adolescent not only emerged unscathed from the event, but he also emerged with renewed vigor and deeper faith.

Zack said that the tragedy had humbled him and that he was really grateful to be alive. He had to wear a defibrillator vest to monitor his heart, but it was all worth it to him.

The Clements family was touched by the outpouring of love from their neighbors and total strangers who wrote Zack well wishes and notes of gratitude for disclosing what he had gone through:

The strength of faith and the miraculous miracle of life is shown in Zack’s narrative. Even in the depths of despair, there is always a reason for optimism.

The incident has strengthened the bonds between the members of the Clements family, who are appreciative of Zack’s second opportunity at life.
