Heartbreaking Road Rage Incident Ends in Fatality for 4-Year-Old in Lancaster, California

In a tragic incident, a 4-year-old child was fatally shot during an alleged road rage incident in Lancaster, Calif., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The incident unfolded on Friday evening when the suspects’ car reportedly cut off the car carrying the child and his parents. The suspects then pursued the family’s vehicle on a highway in Lancaster, as stated by LASD.

During the pursuit, the suspects’ car pulled up next to the family, and shots were fired, resulting in the child being shot in the upper torso. Despite being taken to the hospital, the child, identified as Gor Adamyan, was pronounced dead.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for the grieving family. Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris expressed the community’s shock, stating, “It’s unimaginable that this could have been any of our families. It could have been any of us.”

The family was reportedly out shopping when the tragic shooting occurred.

A 29-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the case, which the LASD has classified as a “murder.” The suspects, who have not been named, were located near the crime scene with the help of newly installed “flock cameras” and dashcam footage. According to CBS News, the suspects allegedly have gang affiliations.

The arrests took place after warrants were served at a Lancaster hotel, and the suspects were taken into custody without incident. The LASD statement mentioned that no one else was injured in the incident, and it is unclear if there were any other minors in the vehicle.
