Family of missing 25-year-old mom discovers her body days after finding her wrecked car – left with questions

Losing a family member is an incredibly difficult experience, but the anguish intensifies when their fate remains unknown, leaving a family desperate for answers. In this heartbreaking case, a family is grappling with the loss of their cherished member and seeking the truth about what transpired.

Yesica Martínez, a 25-year-old woman, was heading home from her new job when an unforeseen event occurred. The young mother supposedly messaged her husband, Mario Morales, that she was on her way home but never arrived. “This feels like a surreal dream. I keep hoping to wake up and see her walking through the door, and we would be happy again,” expressed Morales.

Yesica had recently started a job as a waitress on Thursday night. However, on Friday, her car was discovered involved in a crash on Woodall Rogers Freeway in Dallas, while Martínez herself was missing. “My sister was an incredible person,” tearfully shared Adriana Diaz, Yesica’s distraught sister. “She did not deserve this.”

Local law enforcement authorities received a report of the crash around 1 a.m. on the same night. Yesica’s family states that they were informed she was heard arguing with an unknown man during her 911 call.

“But we could hear her pleading for help,” added Manzo, a family member. Yesica’s phone and glasses were found in the wreckage, which raised concerns within the family. “She can’t see without her glasses. There was no reason for her to take them off and walk around blindly. It just doesn’t make sense for her to do that,” explained Diaz.

“And we told them that, given the circumstances of what happened, we didn’t believe she simply disappeared,” Morales added. On Sunday, the family tragically discovered the lifeless body of the young mother. It was found behind a fence that had to be cut through by first responders.

The fence was situated across several lanes of the southbound service road of the North Stemmons Freeway, beneath the freeway where her SUV had crashed. “For three days straight, we tirelessly searched,” added Diaz. Local law enforcement officials are currently investigating her death as unexplained. “It feels like we’re trapped in a never-ending nightmare,” Diaz lamented.

With numerous unanswered questions, the family is left grappling with uncertainty. “What did they know? What did they do?” questioned Manzo, urging anyone with information about the accident or Yesica’s death to come forward. “Any information, no matter how small, can make a difference,” Manzo emphasized.

“Yesica may have been my younger sister, but she was the one I turned to for everything,” Diaz fondly recalled. To assist with Yesica’s funeral expenses and other costs, the family has organized a GoFundMe campaign.

This devastating story evokes immense sympathy for the Martínez and Morales families as they navigate this profound loss. Let us share this article widely so that others may offer their condolences and support.
